M/s Chakrabarti & Gangopadhyay was established on 18 January 2000 at Kolkata, India. The firm was founded by CA Anirban Gangopadhyay, B.Com (Hons), FCA, Grad. CWA, DISA (ICAI), Registered Valuer (IBBI) – Securities or Financial Assets, and FAFD (Forensic Accounting & Audit). Over the years, the firm has developed experience in diverse professional areas, including assurance and audit, valuation services, consultancy, accountancy, direct and indirect taxation, and matters relating to Company Law. The firm caters to a wide spectrum of professional assignments in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards. At present, the firm is led by two partners—CA Anirban Gangopadhyay, Managing Partner, and CA Debjani Ray, B.Com (Hons), FCA, DISA (ICAI). The partners are supported by a team of trained and experienced professionals who assist in carrying out assignments of varied nature. Each assignment undertaken by the firm is planned, executed, and reviewed under the supervision of the partner-in-charge to ensure adherence to professional standards and quality requirements. The firm places emphasis on understanding client requirements and providing professional services within the framework of applicable statutory and regulatory provisions. In order to keep pace with developments in the profession and the regulatory environment, the firm follows a process of continuous learning and professional development to enhance its knowledge base and service capabilities.

Since then M/S Chakrabarti & Gangopadhyay has traversed a long 24 years and has
grown in size and experience over the period. Today the firm is involved in various
activities in the areas of assurance and audit, valuation, consultancy, accountancy, direct
and indirect taxation, company formation etc. It has in its clientele renowned listed
companies of India.
Today the firm has two FCAs with CA Anirban Gangopadhyay being the Managing Partner
of the Firm and CA Debjani Ray B, COM (Hons) FCA, DISA.
The firm has a team of dedicated and experienced work force to handle assignments of
varied nature. Each and every assignment is supervised and reviewed by the partner-incharge
before it is finally signed and delivered.

has been able to provide appropriate solutions and guidance in times of need. It has also
been involved in hand-holding functions in setting up new business and has received

As a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), he holds several prestigious qualifications including: DISA (Diploma in Information Systems Audit) from ICAI, Forensic Accounting & Audit certificate holder from ICAI and a Registered Valuer under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI) in the segment of Security or Financial Assets
In addition to his CA credentials, he is also a graduate member of the Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India. Throughout his career of 25 years, Anirban has served a diverse clientele of corporate entities and individuals both in India and abroad, specializing in Direct and Indirect Taxation, Corporate Law matters, and Valuation.
Under his leadership, a dedicated team of experts continues to grow and cater to a sizable business and non-business community, providing comprehensive services in these fields.
